Listening instructions

There are four parts and ten questions in each. The answers occur in question order. Each recording is played once.

Preparation and checking pauses are included in the recording. The final two-minute check begins after the last lecture. Your answers are then submitted automatically.

Follow the word limit in each task. Type the word or number you hear, with correct spelling. Capital letters and extra spaces are ignored. A hyphenated word counts as one word. Common valid forms of dates, times and amounts are listed in the answer key.

Use the part buttons or question numbers to navigate. Flags and notes do not affect your score. The floor plan is part of questions 16–20.

If playback is interrupted, use Resume audio. A resumed attempt is labelled as interrupted, so you can distinguish it from an uninterrupted exam-style attempt.

Your notes

The recording continues while you make notes. Notes are not marked.

This clears the saved answers, notes and result on this device. Save your report first if needed. After you have seen the answers, repeating the same test is practice rather than a reliable new diagnostic.

Resume the recording

Playback was interrupted. Continue from the last saved position. This interruption will be noted in your result.
